I’m moved out!

After almost 22 years of living with the parents, I have finally moved out, almost on my own. I’m now living with my good friend Richard on a nice high rise building located in the central part of Kitchener.

It’s been a little over a week since I’ve moved out. I survived my first week! Quite well actually, cooking myself nice, full filling meals for each day, keeping the kitchen and place clean and I am not sick of it at all.

I didn’t move out to be rid of my parents, because I love them, but I did it to move forward in my life. It was time to try out this whole real world thing, where I didn’t have to rely on my parents for making me food, keeping things clean, and so on.

I don’t think it’s hit me yet, that I am actually living on my own. Maybe I’ve just been too busy with all things in life to notice it. I haven’t really spent a night alone. I’m sure it will hit me, maybe in a few weeks, maybe in a few months when I’m laying there in my bed, completely alone, having just spent the entire day cooking meals for the week, cleaning dishes, scrubbing floors, that I am finally out of my parents house
